FanDuel Acquires BeyondPlay, Boosting Its iGaming Offering
BeyondPlay, a B2B technology venture specializing in next-generation iGaming software, has been acquired by FanDuel, the operator of the top US sportsbook and the second-largest iGaming brand. FanDuel is part of Flutter Entertainment, the world's leading sports betting and iGaming company.
Following the acquisition, BeyondPlay will be integrated into FanDuel Casino, FanDuel's leading iGaming brand, with a focus on product development and innovation.
Founded by Karolina Pelc in 2021, BeyondPlay offers two flagship products. The Jackpot Management System features content-agnostic and highly customizable jackpot campaigns, while the Multiplayer Software allows multiple users to participate in the same casino game sessions, pool their stakes, and share their entertainment experience.
The strategic acquisition strengthens FanDuel's iGaming offer, specifically with the addition of market-proven, best-in-class jackpot technology and innovative multiplayer software capabilities. In Q4 2023, FanDuel Casino grew its share of the US iGaming market to 26%, marking a 5% year-on-year increase.
BeyondPlay has already made an impression in the gaming industry, boasting a number of well-known gaming clients, securing funding from leading venture capitalists, partnering with prominent game studios, and obtaining supplier operating licenses in key regulated jurisdictions, including the UK, Malta, Ontario (Canada), and Sweden.
