Falco Holsters Introduces Bearly & Shikra: Comfortable OWB Leather Holsters
Falco Holsters has introduced two new outside-the-waistband (OWB) leather holsters: the Bearly and the Shikra. Both models cater to those who prefer comfort and convenience in their gun carry, offering distinct features and advantages.
The Bearly holster stands out for its secure grip and quick release, requiring no break-in period. It boasts a 15-degree cant, allowing for a more natural draw stroke and improved concealment. However, it is bulkier and less flexible, which might affect its concealability. Both holsters come with belt loops suitable for a 1.5-inch wide belt and a feature to protect users from sharp gun edges and sweat-induced rust. The Bearly is a pancake-style holster, fitting guns similar to a Wilson Combat EDC X9 and an EAA/Girsan MC P35 PI OPS, with an MSRP of $99.95.
The Shikra holster, on the other hand, requires a short break-in period for comfortable draws. It has a smooth, rounded look with crisp mold lines, offering a lower profile and better concealability than the Bearly. It is priced at $119.95.
Falco Holsters' Bearly and Shikra OWB leather holsters provide additional carry options for defensive pistols. While the Bearly offers secure grip and quick release, the Shikra excels in comfort and concealability. Both holsters ensure the three key functions of a handgun holster: holding the gun in place, securing it when not in use, and protecting trigger and safety devices.
