Extron's ConferenceShare Unifies Local Room Devices in UC Meetings
Extron Electronics introduces ConferenceShare, a new solution for seamless integration of local room cameras and microphones into unified communications meetings. This innovation supports sharing content via various methods and platforms.
ConferenceShare allows users to share content from local devices to the room display and remote participants using ShareLink Pro App, AirPlay, or Miracast (with optional ShareLink Pro WFA 100 adapter). It supports up to four pieces of content at a time.
For video and audio sharing, ConferenceShare enables in-room USB devices to connect with Windows or macOS laptops during Teams or Zoom meetings. This feature requires an Extron LinkLicense on the ShareLink Pro unit connected to the USB room devices. Additionally, ConferenceShare supports integration with Microsoft 365 Calendar to streamline UC meeting connections.
