Matt McCaffree, VP and General Manager at Flash Parking, has announced that the arena is setting a standard for entertainment venues in supporting the transition to electric vehicles (EVs).

The new EV charging hub, operated by Flash Parking, is located in Ball Arena's Camry South Lot. This hub, open to the public as well as to event attendees, boasts 60 Level 2 J1772 charging ports. Whether you're a fan attending a game or event, a resident of Northern Colorado, or a traveler passing through, you're welcome to use the charging facilities.

Matt Bell, Senior VP of Venue Operations at Ball Arena, expressed that this partnership and the introduction of the EV charging hub demonstrate the arena's commitment to sustainability, enhancing the fan experience, and supporting the community.

The charging hub will be available during the approximately 250 events Ball Arena hosts annually. For those charging their EVs, it will cost $0.45 per kilowatt-hour at the Ball Arena hub.

Ball Arena's strategic location near major road connections in downtown Denver, with easy access to Interstate 25 and light rail service, makes it an ideal spot for the charging hub. This convenience not only benefits the arena's patrons but also contributes to Denver's growing network of EV charging stations.
