Lawo Showcases IP-Based Media Infrastructure Solutions at ISE 2025

At this year's Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) event in Barcelona (Feb. 4-7), Lawo will display a range of IP-based media infrastructure solutions designed to enhance immersive sound experiences and streamline media workflows for broadcast and media production environments.

The showcased solutions include control and monitoring systems, digital audio mixing consoles, and video technologies. These offerings are primarily aimed at broadcast studios, live event productions, and media infrastructure that require advanced IP-based workflows for audio and video processing, control, and monitoring.

Broadcast Control and Monitoring

Lawo's Virtual Studio Manager (VSM) system is a prime example of their focus on broadcast control and monitoring. This integrated IP broadcast environment solution offers streamlined operations and studio management for seamless production.

Immersive Audio Experiences

Lawo's IP technology has been demonstrated at large-scale events such as the Expo in Osaka, showcasing its ability to deliver high-quality sound via networked audio infrastructure.

Digital Audio Mixing

The mc236 audio production console, featuring 384 processing channels, native support for ST2110, AES67, RAVENNA, and Ember+, and an impressive I/O capacity of 864 channels, is designed to leverage IP networks for flexibility and scalability in live and studio productions.

In Power Core mode, the crystal console acts as an independent mixer powered by Lawo's Power Core engine, while in Controller mode, it becomes an extension interface for Lawo's mc2 audio production consoles.

Lawo's HOME Platform

Lawo's HOME platform, based on open standards such as SMPTE ST2110, NMOS, IEEE802.1x and RADIUS, and following LUX, Lawo's unified experience design principles, connects, manages, and secures networked production setups. The HOME App family, including apps like the HOME Multiviewer, UDX Converter, Graphic Inserter, HOME mc2 DSP App, HOME Test Pattern Generator, Color Corrector, Timecode Generator, HOME Downstream Keyer, and more, will also be showcased at ISE 2025.

These apps, built on a microservice-based architecture, provide flexibility for media workflows, supporting mixed technologies and formats.

Additional Highlights

The crystal console, featuring a high-density control surface in light and dark versions and configurations with 6, 8, or 14 faders, will also be on display.

The compact and highly adaptable crystal broadcast console will also be showcased.

Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona) will present the venue's roadmap for immersive and highly sophisticated audio and video productions.

La Monnaie (Brussels) will discuss the AV tools used for its immersive-audio "Fanny and Alexander" production.

Teatro Real (Madrid) will discuss using its three mc256 consoles powered by six redundant A__UHD Core audio engines for a variety of sophisticated production workflows.

Visitors are encouraged to register for ISE 2025 to experience these innovative IP-based media infrastructure solutions firsthand.
