Daehong & Aptos Team Up to Bring Blockchain to Mainstream Consumer Apps

Daehong Communications and Aptos Foundation are teaming up to bring blockchain technology to everyday consumer applications. Their collaboration aims to speed up mainstream adoption of blockchain, making daily tasks more efficient and less troublesome.

The partnership has already borne fruit. Daehong's mobile voucher service Giftiel, after integrating the Aptos blockchain in July 2025, has issued over 5 million vouchers and attracted more than 1.3 million users. This success showcases the potential of blockchain in digital services.

At the Global Blockchain Forum in South Korea in 2025, Kang Tae-ho, Head of Daehong's Future Growth Division, presented the company's vision for blockchain adoption. Daehong reaffirmed this commitment at the forum, outlining plans to integrate blockchain into mainstream consumer experiences.

Looking ahead, the two companies plan to expand their collaboration. They will explore blockchain integration across Lotte's business operations, including loyalty programs, digital payments, and cross-border value transfers. Giftiel's success serves as a case study, demonstrating how trusted blockchain infrastructure can drive adoption at scale.

Daehong Communications and Aptos Foundation are working together to make blockchain a part of our daily lives. Their successful integration into Giftiel shows promise, and their future plans could revolutionise various aspects of Lotte's business operations.
