CRRC Unveils EU12C: The Game-Changer in Electric Coach Technology
CRRC has unveiled the EU12C, a 12-metre electric coach outlet designed to tackle long-distance electric vehicle challenges. The coach outlet was presented at Busworld Europe, with the chairman of CRRC conducting the event. The EU12C boasts an impressive 6.5 m3 luggage capacity due to its innovative battery integration.
The EU12C is powered by a 440 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 550 kilometres. It features a 12-inch control screen, electronic mirrors, and a 360-degree monitoring system for enhanced driver safety and convenience.
CRRC has adapted high-speed rail design principles and safety standards for its electric buses. The EU12C benefits from platform integration and modular components, ensuring reliability and ease of maintenance. The coach outlet operates at 800V high-voltage architecture, enabling faster charging times.
The EU12C is equipped with a 480 kW electric motor, providing 5,100 Nm of torque for varied terrain operation. Its turning circle is less than 18 metres, making it highly manoeuvrable in city environments.
