Cora Kelly School Transformed: New Library, Paint, and Furniture

Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology in Alexandria recently underwent a transformation. The school received upgrades from Rebuilding Together DC - Alexandria and Home Depot. Volunteers from Home Depot assisted in repairs and improvements.

The renovation project included various enhancements. The school's interior was refreshed with a new coat of paint. Minor construction projects were undertaken to address necessary repairs. The library was rebuilt, providing students with a modern learning space. New furniture was assembled to complete the updated look.

Rebuilding Together DC - Alexandria, a non-profit organisation established in 1986, played a significant role in the project. They have been supporting Alexandria and D.C. homeowners in need with repair services and materials. The organisation has amassed a vast network of volunteers, numbering in the thousands, and has provided over $350,000 in services.
