Cobalt Digital to Introduce Itself at ISE for the First Time

Cobalt Digital, a renowned provider of signal processing solutions, is set to make its debut at ISE 2024, exhibiting an array of products designed to address pro AV applications. The company's booth can be found at 5F600 in Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from February 4 to 7.

One of the highlights of Cobalt's exhibition will be the COBALT SAPPHIRE ST 2110 Mini Converters. These devices, designed for Pro AV applications, feature hardware support for SMPTE ST 2110 media transport, enabling seamless integration with modern IP-based video networks.

The SAPPHIRE ST 2110 Mini Converters support up to four signals at 1080p60 resolution or a single 4K signal, with each channel individually selectable between SDI and ST 2110 IP formats. This versatility allows for smooth conversion and routing between traditional SDI and IP video environments, facilitating live video production and mastering workflows.

The benefits of these mini converters include plug-and-play operation, high-density signal handling, flexibility to toggle between SDI and ST 2110 on a per-channel basis, support for SMPTE ST 2110, low-latency conversion, and reliable operation for live production use cases.

Cobalt's UltraBlue IP-MV Multiviewer also features prominently in the exhibition. This multiviewer supports receiving audio/video content over IP across various protocols and formats with flexible audio routing. Mosaic configurations on the UltraBlue IP-MV Multiviewer can be customized with arbitrary sizes, orientations, and graphic overlays.

Additionally, Cobalt will showcase the SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Ho/4Sio family, a quad channel SMPTE ST 2110-20/22 baseband to HDMI/SDI converter unit that supports four simultaneous HDMI and four simultaneous SDI outputs. The SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Ho/4Sio also includes an optional, factory-installed audio board with separate analog and AES input/output ports.

Cobalt Digital will be supporting the AIMS Alliance with a presence in their booth at ISE, showcasing the SAPPHIRE BBG line of IPMX-capable standalone mini-converters. The company will also demonstrate an end-to-end low-latency fully compliant IPMX solution with HDMI devices using JPEG-XS compression.

Furthermore, Cobalt's WAVE routers offer RP-168 switching support, an open modern control API, and support for traditional control protocols. The COBALT WAVE family of multiformat routers and control panels support signals up to 12G-SDI and feature a web-based control interface.

Cobalt's ARIA AUD-MON audio monitor has also been recognized for excellence, receiving a Best of Show award at NAB 2024.

Cobalt Digital is a founding partner in the openGear initiative, further demonstrating the company's commitment to open standards and interoperability.

Visitors to ISE 2024 are encouraged to stop by Cobalt Digital's booth (5F600) to experience these innovative solutions firsthand.
