CityFibre's Q3 2025: Customer Connections Double, Revenue Surges
CityFibre, a leading UK digital infrastructure provider, has announced significant growth and milestones in Q3 2025. CEO Simon Holden described this period as 'an inflection point' for the business, marked by substantial increases in customer connections and revenue.
CityFibre's customer connections nearly doubled in Q3 2025, reaching 108,000. This surge can be attributed to the completion of a 10Gb XGS-PON upgrade, which was finished ahead of schedule. Additionally, Sky launched broadband services across CityFibre's nationwide network in July, contributing to this growth. CityFibre gained Sky as a new ISP partner during this quarter, though details about specific contracts or other new partners remain unpublished.
The company's revenue also saw a significant boost, rising to £43 million in Q3 2025, with an annualised run rate of £172 million. This increase was supported by an adjusted EBITDA of £7.6 million in the same quarter, running at £30 million annually. CityFibre also secured a £2.3 billion financing package in July to support its continued expansion.
To cater to growing demand, CityFibre launched a 5.5GB wholesale product. This, coupled with its partnerships, has led to a total of around 730,000 connections, demonstrating a notable increase in growth.
CityFibre's Q3 2025 has been marked by impressive growth, with customer connections and revenue nearly doubling. The company's strategic upgrades, partnerships, and financing have positioned it for continued success in the digital infrastructure sector.
