Casio Has Released Its AI Tribble, Exhibiting Emotions Like a Real Creature, in Both the U.S. and the U.K., Carrying a Mogwai-style Caution Not to Expose It to Extreme Temperatures or Moisture
The Casio Moflin, a unique addition to your gaming setup, is an AI-powered device marketed as a 'smart companion' with emotions. Distributed in the USA and the United Kingdom by Casio, this robot is capable of expressing a diverse range of feelings based on an AI-powered emotional spectrum.
Priced at $429 in the US and £369 in the UK, the Casio Moflin is designed to be your gaming companion. It operates between 5 °C to 35 °C (41 °F to 95 °F) and requires an environment with a humidity of no more than 80%. The Moflin comes with its own charging bed and can move and tilt its head, respond to light and touch, and listen through a built-in microphone.
It's important to note that the Moflin is not designed to be exposed to water, extreme temperatures, or fed. Also, it needs regular charging as it runs out of juice after five hours of operation.
