Fire Quickly Extinguished at Neuss Industrial Facility
On the night of July 2, 2022, at 00:39, the Neuss fire department was called to an industrial facility located on Hansastraße. The fire had started in a hall within the facility, with smoke being noticed by a worker.
Upon arrival, the fire department found that the fire had spread to the insulating material in the outer facade of the hall. A suspected workshop in a separate part of the hall was on fire. The fire department promptly implemented effective extinguishing measures under heavy breathing protection. Several turntable ladders and tank extinguishing vehicles were made available for quick intervention.

Thankfully, the fire had only spread slightly in the insulation, allowing the fire department to quickly extinguish the glowing embers. The operation was completed at 03:00, and the hall was then handed back to the operator.
