Business platform for B2B sales closed deal worth $5.1 million
In the fast-paced world of B2B sales, the traditional approach to product demonstrations has often been manual, inconsistent, and time-consuming. This has led to bottlenecks and generic experiences that don't resonate with prospects. However, a new player in the market, Olto, is set to change this narrative.
Olto, an AI demo engineering company, has recently secured $5.1 million in pre-seed funding, co-led by Nexus Venture Partners and The General Partnership. Founded by former Amazon executives Kintan Brahmbhatt, Jean-Baptiste Chaput, and engineer Pranav Midha, Olto aims to revolutionise the B2B sales landscape by automating the creation and maintenance of software demos.
The Olto platform integrates with a company's CRM, overlaying prospect-specific data on live interfaces, enhancing how buyers experience a product beyond simply automating workflows. This AI-native platform has been found to reduce demo preparation time by up to 70 percent and improve win rates. Early customers, including Demandbase, Eightfold.ai, Qventus, and Jiminny, have reported these impressive results.
Kyle Gutke, Vice President of Solutions Consulting at Demandbase, acknowledged Olto's help in realizing a new level of demo personalization, previously impossible without engineering support. Ethan Jones, VP, Solutions Consulting at Eightfold, credited Olto for transforming their demo process by instantly showcasing how their platform would look for specific use cases, without hours of manual setup.
Phin Barnes, co-founder at The General Partnership, finds Olto's product essential for their demo process, praising its simplicity and real-time information hiding capabilities. Abhishek Sharma, managing director at Nexus Venture Partners, expressed excitement about Olto's application of consumer product instincts to enterprise software sales.
Olto's unique selling point is its agentic AI demo capture. The platform uses AI agents that automatically learn how a software application renders and write the necessary code to create a cloned demo environment that works out of the box. This eliminates the time drain of manual demo preparation and creates genuinely targeted experiences that lead to faster sales cycles.
The platform also includes an AI demo diagnostic engine, which automatically detects blockers in the demo environment, ensuring demos are functional and smooth. The AI agents fix detected problems behind the scenes to deliver clean, production-ready demo environments without errors.
By automating the most tedious parts of demo creation and maintenance, Olto frees sales engineers to focus more on delivering demos and generating revenue rather than spending up to 24% of their time fixing demos. The platform can handle guided tours as well as full application clones, enabling flexibility for different demo needs in enterprise sales.
In a world where personalised B2B experiences are becoming increasingly expected, Olto is at the forefront of this shift. Its AI-first approach is set to redefine how B2B go-to-market teams create and scale high-quality, customised software demos more efficiently, making the sales process more streamlined and effective.
