Bowers Group Unveils Baty Velo FV: Fast, Precise Entry-Level Vision System
Bowers Group has launched the Baty Velo FV, a new non-contact measurement system. This compact yet powerful device is the perfect entry-level vision system for high-volume, low-cost component manufacturers seeking speed, simplicity, and precision.
The Velo FV boasts a fixed 100 x 80 mm field of view (FOV), telecentric profile lighting, and intelligent auto-focus functionality. It excels in straightforward inspection of flat parts, particularly in industries where a fast return on investment (ROI) is crucial.
Despite its compact footprint, the Velo FV retains the optical precision of its larger sibling, the FV-1080. It can achieve remarkable accuracy of 3 μm on hundreds of measurements in a single second. The system offers full measurement and reporting functionality, backed by high-end telecentric optics and lighting.
Named after the Latin word 'veloci', meaning fast and swift, the Velo FV lives up to its name. It delivers swift results without compromising on quality. The device supports real-time quality assurance with Baty's intuitive Fusion FV software.
First released in 2011, the Baty Velo FV is a testament to Bowers Group's commitment to innovation in non-contact measurement systems. With its speed, simplicity, and precision, the Velo FV is set to become an invaluable tool for manufacturers seeking to streamline their quality control processes.
