Belgian Accurat.ai Raises €1M for Data-Driven Retail Expansion

Belgian data-driven software firm Accurat.ai has secured €1 million in funding. The company specialises in location intelligence and AI, serving notable clients such as Ahold Group, Lidl, Aldi, and media giants like Clear Channel.

Founded by Steven Van Canneyt and Bart Muskala, Accurat.ai has attracted investments from PMV, Angelwise, Lorenz Bogaert, Toon Coppens, Jonas Deprez, and its own COO, Bart Putteman. The company's platform uses real-world behavioural data to aid businesses in retail market research, enabling them to make quicker, evidence-based decisions.

With the fresh funds, Accurat.ai plans to expand its location-based AI market research services across Europe, initially targeting Germany.

The €1 million investment will support Accurat.ai's growth, ensuring its GDPR-compliant data services remain a valuable tool for merchants and retail brands. The company's focus on Europe, led by its experienced founders, signals a promising future in the data-driven retail sector.
