Beats and Verdy have transformed The Pill into a creative plaything, but it's now more than just a toy with teeth.

In a unique blend of technology and art, Beats and Japanese artist Verdy have teamed up to create a limited-edition art toy. The collaboration, which was initially released on August 21, 2025, features a reimagined Vear character holding a Beats Bluetooth speaker.

The Vear collectable art figure, bundled with a Beats Pill, was unveiled exclusively at Dover Street Market in London. The bundle, priced at approximately £380 (around $500 USD), will become available later this year in the U.S., China, and Japan.

This latest collaboration between Beats and Verdy is the third, following the release of the Girls Don't Cry edition of the Beats Flex earbuds in 2023 and the original Vear Pill holder in August 2024. The partnership continues to redefine the intersection of technology and art, inspired by Japan's streetwear-meets-pop-art scene.

The figure, designed by Verdy, known for his nostalgic, playful cartoon style, is cream-colored. The Vear character, with its reimagined design, holds a Beats Bluetooth speaker in its mouth, symbolizing the seamless integration of art and technology.

The Beats Pill speaker, included in the bundle, offers 24 hours of battery life and features IP67 dust and water resistance. Known for its bold, room-filling sound, the Beats Pill delivers an immersive audio experience.

Japanese rapper YoungCoco, signed to Verdy Sounds label, has contributed an original launch track to the collaboration, adding a musical element to the artistic project.

The collaboration is part of Verdy's Gift Shop takeover and pushes the boundaries of what tech-meets-art can look like. Verdy expressed his excitement about creating his own version of the Beats character, stating that it was a nostalgic nod to the original Pill People.
