Australia's Renewable Energy Sector Booms in September 2025
September 2025 saw a significant boost in Australia's renewable energy sector, with a 55% increase in small-scale battery energy storage systems registered, totalling 639 MWh. The average size of batteries being rolled out also increased to 24.40 kWh.
