This advanced system offers a blend of advanced sensing hardware, comprehensive Level 2 (L2) autonomous driving capabilities, extensive digital cockpit integration with large displays, and a highly robust vehicle safety structure.
The Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving technology features Dual-Laser Radar and Vision Fusion Sensing. This system integrates dual-laser radar with vision sensors to deliver advanced map-free L2 driving assistance capabilities. It is the only system in the industry to feature dual-laser radar with automatic cleaning and heating functions, enhancing radar performance in adverse weather conditions such as rain and snow, significantly improving safety during electric travel.
The Q6L e-tron family boasts a sophisticated cockpit setup with four displays: an 88-inch holographic head-up display (HUD), an 11.9-inch OLED virtual cockpit, a 14.5-inch OLED central control display, and a 10.9-inch co-pilot display. These displays can connect to smartphones to provide immersive, digital interaction experiences inside the vehicle, merging luxury with technology.
The vehicles feature a race-grade, cage-type safety body constructed from up to 83% aluminum alloy and high-strength steel, including 34% hot-formed steel. The design incorporates laser welding technology and an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy front crash beam to deliver superior crash protection.
Test drives for the Q6L e-tron family are now available at Audi dealerships. The PPE platform incorporates components and technical modules from Volkswagen's MEB (Modular Electric Drive Matrix) and Porsche's J1 architecture.
