The new model also includes a built-in compass, supporting navigation and direction finding. Additionally, it supports International Emergency Calling, enabling users to call emergency services even when they are not near their iPhone.

The Series 5 runs on watchOS 6, which brings new health and fitness features, as well as a dedicated App Store. New Apple Watch bands will also be available starting September 20, allowing users to customize their device. For those looking for a more affordable option, the Apple Watch Series 3 is still available, starting at $199 for the GPS model and $299 for the GPS + Cellular version. Furthermore, watchOS 6 will be available for Apple Watch Series 3 and later on September 19, ensuring that older models can still benefit from the latest software features. Apple Watch Nike and Apple Watch Hermès will also be available for order starting September 20 and October 4 respectively, offering stylish and high-end options for customers.
