King's focus will be on the ongoing transformation of global banking, driven by technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation. He will share insights into how traditional financial institutions must adopt tech-driven business models and transform fundamentally or face consolidation or closure.

King will introduce the concept of "Bank 5.0," a vision where banks are defined by real-time engagement, digital infrastructure, and customer-centered innovation. He will discuss the widening gap between traditional banks and digital-first fintech firms and emphasise the need for Bangladesh's banking sector to move beyond legacy systems to compete effectively on a global scale.

King will also address the increasing importance of climate and sustainability in shaping banking's future. He will highlight examples of global banking transformation, such as India's UPI and China's mobile payments revolution, to illustrate the potential for innovation in Bangladesh.

Tushar Hasan, Country Manager-Bangladesh, FILPS, stated that digital transformation requires a shared commitment from institutions, regulators, and partners. He emphasised that Bankers' Meet 2025 is an opportunity to align perspectives and deepen collaboration around the future of banking in Bangladesh.

FILPS specialises in delivering tailored digital solutions to banks and financial institutions across South Asia, East Asia, and the GCC.
