Alleged specifications of the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL models unveiled in a recent leak
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Google prepares to unveil its latest offering, the Pixel 10 series. With rumours of an August 2025 launch, the anticipation is building for this highly-anticipated lineup.
The Pixel 10 series is expected to include two models: the standard Pixel 10 and the premium Pixel 10 Pro, along with a new addition, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Each device will come in a range of colourways, designed to cater to various tastes.
The Pixel 10 (base model) is expected to be available in four vibrant hues: Ultra Blue, a royal blue exclusive to this model, Limoncello, a mid-tone yellowish colour, Iris, a bluey purple previously seen on Pixel 9a, and Midnight, a dark gray shade, slightly lighter than the previous Obsidian black.
On the other hand, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will offer a more subdued palette, with Sterling Gray, a lighter gray than Midnight, Light Porcelain, a creamier, more off-white version replacing the classic Porcelain, Midnight, and Smoky Green, a deep, rich green.
Interestingly, two iconic colours from previous Pixel generations, Obsidian (true black) and Porcelain (pure white), seem to be replaced or dropped in favour of the new shades, Midnight and Light Porcelain, respectively.
In terms of specifications, both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to have impressive displays. Each will boast a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to offer storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, skipping the 128GB model, while the Pixel 10 Pro will offer storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL is rumoured to have a larger 6.8-inch display, compared to the 6.3-inch display of the Pixel 10 Pro. Both devices are expected to support Qi2 wireless charging with speeds of 29W and 39W, respectively.
The telephoto and ultrawide cameras on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to have higher apertures, allowing for brighter and more detailed macro photos. Both devices will feature a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultrawide lens, 48MP telephoto lens, and a 42MP selfie camera.
Powering these devices will be Google's Tensor G5 chip. The Pixel 10 Pro is rumoured to have a 4,870mAh battery, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL could have a 5,200mAh battery. It's worth noting that these specifications are not confirmed and may change in the actual devices.
Lastly, the displays of the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will be protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The Pixel 10 series is expected to run Android 16 out of the box.
