AG5 Secures €6M to Revolutionize Factory Skills Management

AG5, a SaaS platform specialising in mapping and tracking employees' skills, has secured €6 million in a funding round. The company, founded in 2019, offers a unique interface to connect employee skills with production lines, providing scalable capacity planning and insights for audits and training programs.

AG5's platform is designed to simplify skills management, offering intuitive, appealing, and sharable skill matrices. It integrates with various HRM, e-learning, planning, and training management systems, including SAP. The company has already attracted notable clients such as Toyota Boshoku, KLM Air France, Tata Steel, and Douwe Egberts, demonstrating the platform's value.

AG5 was founded by Rick and Mathieu van Echtelt, and Wouter Gazendam. The recent funding round was led by Headline, Acadian Ventures, and Peak, with participation from FAMO Ventures, NLC, and Newion. The company currently has 31 employees and is targeting factories with 200 to 40,000+ employees, offering its services in 14 languages.

With the new funds, AG5 plans to expand its international reach, starting with Germany. The company's innovative platform, which links employee skills to production lines, is poised to revolutionise skills management in factories worldwide.
