The Waterline Tower, standing proudly in downtown Austin, is not just the tallest building in Texas with a height of 1,025 feet, but also a testament to thoughtful urban design and community connectivity.
Originally, the Waterline Tower was not planned to be the tallest building, but its size and the diverse structures included contributed to its current stature. Lincoln Property Co., the developers behind the project, designed the tower to meet all of Austin's needs in a central location, connecting downtown to the vibrant Rainey Street district.
The tower's mixed-use design is a marvel in itself. It houses offices, residences, shops, and restaurants, each with separate entrances, elevators, and parking. This design creates a "mini city," offering a self-contained community comparable to 47 football fields in size.
