2025 Infinity QX80 Models: Track Version and Terrain Version Push Boundaries of Performance and Durability

Infiniti Unveils QX80 Track Spec and Terrain Spec Concept Vehicles

Infiniti, the luxury automobile manufacturer, has revealed two new concept vehicles based on its QX80 SUV: the QX80 Track Spec and the QX80 Terrain Spec. Each vehicle caters to a distinct audience, with the Track Spec focusing on high-performance driving and the Terrain Spec designed for luxury overlanding and off-road capability.

The QX80 Track Spec is a testament to Infiniti's commitment to performance. It boasts a re-tuned twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates over 650 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque, a significant increase over the standard model. This makes it the most powerful Infiniti ever produced. Performance enhancements include enlarged front Brembo brakes for superior stopping power, and aggressive styling with unique rocker panels, front splitter, fender vents, front air intakes, quad exhaust tips, a rear diffuser, and 24-inch wheels with wide fender flares. The matte metallic black-blue vinyl wrap and the grille from the QX80 SPORT grade further emphasize its sporty aesthetic.

On the other hand, the QX80 Terrain Spec is engineered for off-road adventures. It features an elevated ride height, complemented by durable fender flares for protection, all-terrain tires and wheels, a roof-mounted LED light bar, a deployable rooftop tent, brush guards, and reinforced underbody protection. Advanced off-road technology includes the Invisible Hood View, which projects the terrain beneath the vehicle onto the display, improving navigation over rough terrain, and a 3D Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, providing a rotating third-person view for safer off-road maneuvering. The rugged satin basalt-dark exterior wrap and unique side-exit exhaust emphasize its off-road readiness and style.

In summary, the Track Spec targets spirited on-road performance with major engine and brake upgrades and aggressive styling, while the Terrain Spec focuses on elevated off-road capability with specialized equipment, terrain visualization technology, and protective features. Both vehicles illustrate Infiniti's strategy to appeal to two different luxury SUV customer mindsets.
