10-Year-Old E-Scooter Rider Injured in Meinerzhagen Accident
A 10-year-old e-scooter rider was injured in a traffic accident in Meinerzhagen. The incident occurred when the youngster suddenly entered the road from the sidewalk, colliding with a Ford Fiesta driven by a 67-year-old local resident. The e-scooter, which was not insured at the time of the accident, was being ridden by the 10-year-old with a 12-year-old girl as a passenger. The collision happened on the road 'Zum Rothenstein' and resulted in approximately 1,000 euros worth of damage to the Ford Fiesta. The identity of the Fiesta's driver is not publicly available. The young rider sustained minor injuries and was promptly taken to the Lüdenscheid Clinic for treatment.
